Anna Scott collection summer 2010

В·В В В В В В В В В  Urbans go wild!

Anna Scott opens in a strong way with the return of sand & neutrals as a solid base for an urban safari look. Panama cotton & yarndyed striped canvas for coordinates; funky cropped pants, detailed skirts & tough jackets. Loads ofВ  pockets& shirring drawstring details, destroyed & damaged effects to create a tougher edge. For playful blouses, skirts & tunics there is a wide variety in printed cottons. Animal prints are updated by means of new colours such as coral & dusty salmon. Tops & tees are refined & decorated, all-over printed, and stripey jerseys are used in edgy patterns. The knitwear complements the look by adding a splash ofВ  bright colour. Eyecatchers are a tunic & cardi in colourfulВ  intarsia knit that showcases a leopard print with a graphic twist. Roarrrr!

В·В В В В В В В В В  Naughty nautics

Sand & grey still going strong, but for the 2nd delivery they are teamed with 2 strong blue hues and a dash of sparkly yellow, providing a nautical feel. However; if Anna Scott does nautical you can be sure she will do it her own specific way. So the obvious & inevitable stripes are teamed with clear, graphic florals.В  Colourblocking gently refers to the 80’s., while chained belts a la Chanel offer a strikingly feminine touch to tough lightweight denim. Lots of attention is payed to new shapes. A funky all-in-one suit comes in heavily draped tencel twill; tough, but oh so feminine at the same time….. The knitwear is key; all-over printed, stripey satin woven details, and braided effects that channel original sailor’s knotting.

В·В В В В В В В В В  Exotic cocktail

Jungle green makes an entrance, while Spicey coral, Off-white & Bitter sweet add freshness and colour towards a more exotic colour scheme. This is to be noticed especially in the prints; XL flowers & liberty florals are randomly mixed for supple jerseys & chiffons. Shaping becomes more light & airy as summer approaches; from loose fit hareempants В to shabby/chique tunic dresses & floaty skirts. All to be teamed with either tough denim and crispy linen or lightweight silk/cotton twill. Knitwear also appears in strong prints & designs to top of f the summer look.

В And what about the coats! Bang-on-trend trechcoat shapes in all-over logo print nylon twill. Mini houndstooth check in metal-mix crunchy fabric. Lighweight parachute nylon for a puffy parka. And last but not least; luscious suede jackets in key colours. Add the right bag, top with a matching scarf; ready, set, go!

A multiple overload in choices, but all fit well within Anna Scott’s key signature. Go wild!

  2. lol its a form of brainwashing. stringing together words into nonsense so your concious mind is preoccupied so your subconcious is left vulnerable to hypnosis. secret messages in the writing. manchurian candidate sleeper agent type stuff.

  4. yep, its basically against the "rules" for someone to give you their interpretation of something, because it's not necessarily correct.

  5. I would also add that in my opinion the vast majority of people aren't intelligent enough to reject concepts by logical or philosophical discourse. Instead they rely on sincerity and pro-activity in others to 'win' their belief and trust. Its a sad truth that ignorance perpetuates cultural and spiritual humanitarian disasters on the epic scale of (for example) the Catholic Church. This is only further compounded by the increasing isolation of the individualist in our modern society!

  6. I couldn't agree more. It seems that frank self introspection is something sorely lacking in most Judeo Christian concepts. Supplanting frustrations and shying away from taking responsibility with dogma and guilt or shame and loathing only compound the disharmony and sense of isolation from our emotional or 'spiritual' cores. Ultimately anything which offers communal and reciprocal therapy, re-enforced by a clear path or journey of progress will find supporters and detractors in abundance.

  7. It's sad that when he asks his friend for his OWN interpretation of LRH's writings he dismisses the concept out of hand.
Individual ideas ARE allowed in most other faiths.
All religions tend to have SOME tenets not up for debate,(e.g Muslims MUST believe in 1 God & Mohommed was his messenger) but I've sat in bible classes & ARGUED about what Revelation means.I didn't HAVE to agree with the Minister.I've sat in Buddhist classes and debated the role of desire.
No room for ANY debate= cult.

  9. The reason why he doesn't understand this book is that L. Ron Hubbard was a damn schizophrenic. He was reading the rantings of an intelligent schizophrenic. You can be smart and crazy at the same time. To bad no one noticed and didn't lock him up in a padded cell. If people went to a normal sessions with a good therapist, I think they would improve their life just as easily. It's the self examination that they like.
